Job summary

Trace-A-Matic is hiring CNC Mill Machinists for 1st shift (6am–6pm) and 2nd shift (6pm–6am) in Houston, TX. You will set up, run, and program complex parts on CNC mills, working across multiple industries.

The role requires 5+ years of machining experience and ability to read blueprints with GD&T. Excellent benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, PTO, and safety gear reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Machining experience.
• High School Diploma/ CNC technical diploma preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints to a medium/high level and interpret GD&T requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operation, and programming of CNC mills for complex machined components.
• Run the first piece to print specification.
• Mentor and train operators.
• Manually inspect the part to the inspection sheet criteria.
• Read blueprints and ensure GD&T tolerancing is met.

Trace-A-Matic is hiring 1st Shift and 2nd Shift CNC Mill Machinists, see below: CNC Machinist Job Overview: You would perform set up, operation, and programming of complex machined components for many different industries on CNC Mills including Horizontal Boring Mills and Vertical Mills. Responsibilities & Duties

• Ability to set up all repeat jobs that are fully documented
• Run the first piece to print specification
• Knowledge of programming and may have ability to make edits or program.
• Manually inspect the part to the inspection sheet criteria
• Ability to read blueprints to a medium/high level and correlate that back to the inspection protocol and documentation
• Knowledge of GD&T tolerancing
• May run multiple machines simultaneously as a production cell
• Advanced shop math with trigonometry and geometry
• Mentor and train operators
• Other duties as needed

Requirements Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/ CNC technical diploma preferred
• 5+ years of Machining experience
• Individuals should show intelligence, mechanical interest/aptitude, good math skills and most importantly willingness to learn.
