We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator (Mill/Lathe) to join our team in a contract-to-hire capacity, offering a seamless transition into a permanent role after completing just 480 hours worked. Positioned in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision metal and synthetic components according to detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Your daily responsibilities will include loading raw materials, adjusting machine controls, running program executions, performing tool changes, and utilizing precision measuring instrumentssuch as micrometers, calipers, and height gaugesto inspect finished parts and maintain strict quality standards. To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a strong mechanical aptitude, background experience in CNC machining (milling and turning), excellent blueprint reading skills, and the physical capability to stand for long periods and handle raw materials throughout the shift. Candidates are required to hold a High School Diploma or GED, with technical school training or formal machining certifications preferred. We currently have openings across two convenient schedules: 1st Shift runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM at a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour, while 2nd Shift operates on a four-day schedule from Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM offering an increased pay rate of $21.00 per hour.
