Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications.
• Knowledge of reading tolerances and drawings for completed parts.
• Experience in aerospace and medical-grade components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate a variety of CNC equipment on the production floor.
• Make adjustments to ensure parts meet quality requirements.
• Safely utilize hand tools, power tools, and machines.
• Load parts, operate controls, set offsets, perform edits, deburr, and inspect parts for conformance.
• Interpret drawings, manuals, specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly; perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintain quality records and communicate issues to supervisor and team.

Requirements

• Maintain and operate a variety of CNC equipment on the production floor.
• Make adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quality requirements.
• Safely utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines.
• Responsible for loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring, and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
• Able to interpret drawings, manuals specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and requirements.
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly, and performing basic preventative maintenance functions of the equipment.
• Maintain quality records.
• Communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Technical / trade school training or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of computer operations and applications.
• Must be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal and written communications to accomplish the job at hand.
• Experience in manufacturing aerospace and medical - grade components.
