Rampart Products in Houston, TX seeks a skilled CNC Mazak Integrex Programmer/Setup Machinist to join a low-volume, high-mix environment. You will create and optimize CNC programs, perform full machine setups, read blueprints and GD&T, and measure parts with precision tools. Qualifications

• 5+ years programming and setup on Mazak Integrex in a low-volume, high-mix environment.
• Fully proficient programming at machine using Mazatrol smooth X/G controls.
• Experience with precision, tight tolerance parts with < 2.5” OD.

Responsibilities

• Create and proof new CNC programs and optimize existing CNC programs.
• Complete full set-ups, operate, and adjust CNC mill-turns for low-volume, high-mix production.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, GD&T specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Rampart Products is seeking a top performing CNC Mazak Integrex Programmer / Setup Machinist who is an innovative thinker and reliable team member.

Our parts require frequent changeovers and setups in a low-volume, high-mix work environment for the harsh-environment connectivity market. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who thrives in a low-volume, high-mix, and complex precision environment.

WHAT THE DAY-TO-DAY LOOKS LIKE:

Responsibilities

• Create and proof new CNC programs and optimize existing CNC programs

• Complete full set-ups, operate, and adjust CNC mill turns for low volume, high mix production

• Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds and speeds, and tool life optimization

• Interpret and work from blueprints, GD&T specifications, and work instructions

• Perform precision measurements using inspection instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure part quality

• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain efficiency

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols

WHAT YOU BRING:

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience programming and setting up Mazak Integrex (twin spindle) mill-turn in a low volume, high mix environment

• Fully proficient programming at the machine using Mazatrol smooth X/G controls

• Experience with precision, tight tolerance parts with < 2.5” OD

• Jaw cutting is required

• Knowledge of cutting tools, metal properties, and multi-axis lathe operations

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team in a fast-paced production environment

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong geometry and analytical math skills to calculate tool paths, feed rates, and speeds

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.

• Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements.

• Ability to lift, carry, and handle molds, materials, and components within company-established limits.

• Ability to work around heated equipment, presses, production machinery, and industrial materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in manufacturing, machining or engineering technology

Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and relevant hands-on experience will be considered.

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm

• Overtime: Available before 6:00am and on Weekends
