Job summary

ManpowerGroup client in Sandston, VA is seeking a skilled CNC & Manual Machinist to join the manufacturing team. You will set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and CNC lathes/mills, reading blueprints and GD&T to ensure precision.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in a precision shop, can troubleshoot tooling and programs, and works well in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machining experience in a precision manufacturing or job-shop environment.
• Hands-on experience with CNC and manual machining operations.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and boring mills to produce high-quality components.
• Configure and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills, including multi-axis equipment, ensuring precision and efficiency.
• Select appropriate tooling, establish machine offsets, and adjust speeds and feeds for optimal machining processes.
• Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs using G-code, M-code, Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol, or similar controls to meet specifications.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing.

Pay Range: $28.00

What's the Job?
