Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform precision skilled maintenance on CNC and NC machine tools in a climate-controlled facility, with potential outdoor areas. You will report to the Maintenance Department Supervisor and help support Production, Quality, Shipping, and IT.

Required are 3-5 years in a similar role and experience in a manufacturing setting, plus the ability to support all groups including facilities. CNC experience is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Performing and documenting maintenance activities involved in installation, alteration, upgrade, regular inspection & repair.
• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic systems, controls, and components of manufacturing machine tools and production equipment.
• Install wiring, conduit, transformers, breakers, switches to supply electrical power to machine tools, facility systems, and facility equipment.
• Preventative maintenance of various types of standard and specialized machinery and equipment, physical building and grounds, and infrastructure to include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security, and telecommunications.
• Responding to emergency safety and operational concerns.
