Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves proactive maintenance, repair, and calibration of CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines according to scheduled maintenance plans.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on CNC equipment.
  3. Repair or replace damaged or worn parts on CNC machines.
  4. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure machines are operating efficiently.
  5. Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize machine performance and reliability.
  6. Install new CNC machines and perform initial setup and testing.
  7. Maintain maintenance logs, documentation, and inventory of spare parts.
  8. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  9. Provide training and support to production personnel on machine operation and maintenance best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations, controls, and components.
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification or training in CNC maintenance is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
