• A Maintenance Technician is responsible for working within our preventive maintenance program, including scheduling, coordinating, and performing maintenance activities to minimize disruptions and repairs. The role involves troubleshooting, repair, proper logging, reporting, and timely communication with affected teams.

Job Description

Summary:

• Responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and communication within manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety and PPE policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Learn machine capabilities and proper start-up, set-up, and shut-down procedures.
• Review and troubleshoot error codes.
• Move machines into service modes or locations as needed.
• Perform predictive maintenance according to schedule.
• Follow cleaning procedures for all machines.
• Log and report issues related to machine maintenance.
• Manage consumables and parts inventory.
• Report departmental issues including quality, safety, and maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Identify process improvements for maintenance efficiency.
• Work across all campus facilities as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Must Haves:

• Strong technical expertise in maintenance processes and equipment.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read measurement devices accurately.
• Knowledge of decontamination protocols.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of maintenance management experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 60 pounds.
• Stand for entire shift.
• Manual dexterity.
