Responsibilities

As a CNC Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include

• Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Diagnosing and repairing CNC machines, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning at peak performance levels.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment including but not limited to motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, and conveyor systems.
• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
• Documenting all performed work and maintaining records of maintenance and repairs.
• Training and guiding less experienced technicians and operators as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in working with various types of machinery, including calibration, pneumatics, motors, and hydraulics.
• A strong understanding of machine maintenance tech and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A high degree of mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
• A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and workplace policies.
• A relevant certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field would be advantageous.
