Job summary

BCI seeks an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to keep our machining operations running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot a wide range of systems and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability.

Read blueprints, calibrate machines, and work with operators to prevent recurring issues. This role offers stable full-time employment with opportunities to grow technical skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in CNC machining or manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience operating manual machining equipment.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Technical degree or industrial maintenance certification is helpful, but hands-on experience matters most.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose equipment failures and identify permanent corrective actions.
• Repair and rebuild machine components such as spindles and drive systems.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Calibrate machines using precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Okuma).
• Support continuous improvement to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with operators to improve performance and prevent failures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and a safe workplace.
