Job description

AMI is searching for an individual capable of troubleshooting malfunctions and maintaining CNC machines, support equipment, and facilities in operating condition. The candidate must be able to interact daily with Engineering and Manufacturing team members to determine maintenance priorities. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities with minimal supervision, using safe techniques and preventive maintenance.
2. Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC machine repairs as required.
3. Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies; anticipate needs, place and expedite orders, and verify receipt.
4. Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
5. Familiarity with PLCs, 480 volts, AC/DC motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
6. Experience with any of the following equipment is a plus:

• Machines: Niigata CNC HMC, G & L Boring Mills, Mazak Integrex.
• CNC Controls: Fanuc 15i, Fanuc 16i, Mitsubishi M700, Mazatrol Matrix 2.
• TIG/MIG welding, plasma cutting.
