CNC Maintenance Mechanic

Job description

Morgan Bronze is looking for a CNC Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The purpose of this position is to perform duties independently on work assignments to maintain process and material handling equipment and facilities including performing routine preventive maintenance procedures.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures of production machines in a timely manner in a team environment.
2. Pull chip conveyors and move maintenance materials throughout the shop.
3. Perform PMs and fill out preventive maintenance check sheets.
4. Perform routine checks of all exit lights, fire extinguishers, and replace light bulbs as needed.
5. Must follow all safety procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• License: valid driver's license.
• Teamwork – cooperative with all employees.
• At least 2 years of experience completing PMs and minor repairs on process and material handling equipment preferred.
• Working in an ISO certified background is a plus but not required.
• Have excellent communication and organization skills.
• Be able to work from written or verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Basic knowledge of motion and industrial controls.
• Basic knowledge of PLC and troubleshooting using PLC.
• Trained in operation of forklifts, skyjacks, hand and power tools, basic machine shop skills.
