Job summary

Hi-Tech Mold & Engineering, Inc. in Rochester, MI is seeking night shift CNC machinists and programmers. This family-owned Tier 1 supplier offers a collaborative environment, industry training, and career development, with a night shift 4 p.m.–2:30 a.m.

and a shift premium. Regular schedule 50–55 hours per week with flexible work/life balance options. Candidates should have 3–5 years Tebis programming, mold experience, and familiarity with Makino, Fidia or DMG machines, Heidenhain and Fanuc

Qualifications

• Minimum three to five years experience programming Tebis, major plus Tebis experience
• Knowledge of plastic injection molds required
• Experience running Makino, Fidia, or DMG machines
• Experience with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
• Ability to perform set-ups and run 2D/3D CAD/CAM programs
• Comfortable in a manufacturing environment and able to pass drug screen

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC machines for 2D and 3D mold components
• Set up machines and run Tebis CAD/CAM programs
• Operate Makino, Fidia or DMG mills
• Work with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
• Position, inspect, and adjust tooling and processes
• Maintain safe work environment and follow lifting protocols

Night shift positions available 4 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. We provide a Shift premium for Night shift. Regular schedule 50-55 hrs/week. We offer flexible schedules for work/life balance.

Position Requirements

• A responsible team player with good judgement, honesty, and integrity
• Minimum three to five years experience programming - Tebis experience a major plus!
• Knowledge and experience in plastic injection molds
• Experience running Makino, Fidia, or DMG machines
• Experience or knowledge of Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
• Ability to perform set-ups
• Familiar with performance of 2D operations
• Experience with 3D surfaces
• Machine and program 2D and 3D (all aspects of CAD/CAM)
• Background in laser tool settings and machine macros
• Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Work around oils and lubricants
• Constant standing, walking, some bending and climbing, pushing and pulling
• Must be able to do physical work which could include lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Able to pass drug screen
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance
