Job description

The CNC Machinist - Weekend Shift is responsible for reading and interpreting sketches, prints, and other related technical data to produce quality parts using conventional Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machine equipment. This position is for our weekend shift, working Friday through Sunday, 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities AND DUTIES
  • Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines
  • Review drawings, instructions, or samples to ensure accurate production of parts.
  • Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
  • Select appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
  • Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
  • Monitor production of parts, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
  • Maintain inventory of completed products.
  • Check output for quality assurance and document defects.
  • Identify and perform required machine maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workstation.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks.
  • Adhere to company safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Adhere to company handbook policies and procedures.
