Position Title: CNC Machinist

Position Description:

• Running multiple HAAS vertical CNC machines simultaneously
• The desire to learn set up and machining of one off/prototype parts.
• The desire to improve yourself through education in programming using MasterCam software
• Must be a self-starter with minimal need for supervision
• This position will include machining hot and cold rolled steel, stainless steel, tool/hardened steels, aluminum and plastics
• Must be team oriented
• Ensure machining tasks are executed in the most effective manner regarding time, cost and function.
• Ensure internal quality checks are conducted prior to release and/or shipment.
• Coordinate with Machining Manager to follow work schedules and labor requirements for assigned jobs.
• Coordinates work requirements utilizing drawings, customer specifications and manuals as necessary.
• Champions company policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and practices good housekeeping.
• Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of equipment
• All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Experience with Haas CNC vertical milling machines or equivalent
• Education/experience in MasterCam 2D & 3D or equivalent is helpful
• 1-2 years minimum CNC experience
• The ability to modify existing programs is helpful
• Mastercam or Solidworks education is helpful
• Proficient in lathe work a plus
• High school degree or equivalent
• Driver’s License

Pay range: $21-$26/hour
