WeldFit in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate vertical mills in the shop. The role involves setting up machines, editing G-code/M-code, and maintaining precision to meet blueprints.

You will read blueprints, calculate tolerances, monitor speeds and feeds, and ensure safe, proactive production. A high school diploma and 2–3 years of CNC/manual machining experience are required.

• 2–3 years of manual and CNC machining experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC Mills (Vertical/Horizontal) to machined part specifications.
• Edit and understand G-code and M-code programs.
• Set up, adjust and operate all machines and fixtures.
• Check work pieces for alignment and tolerances with calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain machine efficiency, monitor speeds/feeds and practice safe operations.
