Job summary

Magee Technologies (MTech) is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, program, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis machines to produce high-precision components from solid models and drawings. You will work with aluminum, steel, brass, titanium, and composites for prototype and production runs.

The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge, GD&T proficiency, tooling maintenance ability, and the discipline to inspect parts and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience programming and machining.
• Experience with NX software preferred.
• Experience with Okuma machines and OSP-300MA controls preferred.
• Experience programming, setup, fixturing and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts with close tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Operate machines to produce high-precision components from solid models and drawings.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality.
• Maintain tooling inventory and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Interpret GD&T per part drawings and ensure conformance to specs.
• Support prototype and production work and help with process improvements.
