ROUSH YATES MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS: WHO WE ARE

Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions is a precision CNC parts manufacturing organization with expertise in multi-axis machining of metal parts with complex geometries. We produce machined parts for the automotive, aerospace, military and industrial industries.

You'll direct and coordinate all production activities for the weekend shift, staying consistent with company policies and procedures to achieve desired business outcomes and results. Other responsibilities include:

• Assign jobs to and supervise machine operators.
• Ensure finished product meets or exceeds all quality specifications and standards.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the CNC manufacturing staff.
• Manufacture various items using a variety of CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Set up, adjust or operate machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
• Align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories or materials onto machines.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process and maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.
• Select and train production staff as well as schedule and conduct department meetings.
• Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment or skills.
• Must be able to make competent decisions at critical times based on experience.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in Machining with 4 axis and 5 axis CNC mills.
• 3+ years of experience and high level of knowledge of Mastercam software.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft products.
• The individual must possess a keen sense of attention to detail.
• Experience setting up and operating multi-Axis CNC and manual machines.
• Ability to run proven and unproven programs.
• Ability to manufacture parts within tolerances and specifications.
• Ability to understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance AMSE Y14.5.
• Ability to train and supervise other employees in their area of expertise.
• Ability to make recommendations on part processing and tooling.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Must perform all duties in conjunction with quality system requirements.
• In depth understanding of manual & CNC equipment capability, part processing, and machining.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. There will be long periods of standing. Must follow company established safety procedures and minimum vision standards, corrected or uncorrected, as follows: Snellen 14/18, 20/25 or better, Jaeger Type 2 at 14 inches, or Ortho-Rated 8. Last, but not least, for ITAR compliance, all employees at this location must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
