Regal Rexnord Corp in Auburn, AL, is seeking an on-site machinist to assist with CNC setup, programming, operation, and adjustments. You will read drawings, write CNC programs, and repair/ fabricate parts for metal hardware and prototypes in a fast-paced, safety-focused cell.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a fully qualified machinist required.
• Emphasis on machinist trade highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write/edit/modify programs for CNC Machines.
• Operate CNC machines according to exact tolerances specified on engineering prints.
• Set up and operate manual lathes, saws, cutting tools, slotting tools to meet exact tolerances on engineering prints.
• Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance, including housekeeping duties as needed.
• Troubleshoot and correct operational and quality issues.
• Ensure the machine is following operational and safety guidelines.
• Meet all production standards.
• Run entire cell/area or multiple machines at a time.
• Work in a constant state of alertness with safety always a priority.
