Job summary

Prince Industries is seeking a CNC Machinist at our Tampa location. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines, including twin spindle/twin turret equipment, and produce precision metal parts for aerospace and other industries. You must read prints, interpret process plans, and document inspections to ensure quality.

We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Regularly read and follow safety protocols. Candidates should have 2 years of CNC machining experience and fluency in English to perform

Job Summary

Manufacturing Precision Metal Products on CNC Milling Machines. Qualified to operate Twin Spindle / Twin Turret machines manufactured by Eurotech and Mori Seiki. Machining metallic and nonmetallic workpieces for the Aerospace Industry by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret process plans, and blueprints to determine necessary machining, dimensional specifications, and operating requirements.


• Utilizes various types of inspection instruments to check work per print.


• Completes necessary job-related paperwork to include part identification, inspection documents, and production log.


• Perform basic equipment maintenance: proper coolant levels, filters, fan operation, cleans machine, etc.

Education and Experience

• 2 Years - Setup and Operating CNC Machines


• 2 Years - Precision CNC Machining


• Experience with Fanuc Controls


• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Physical Job Requirements

• Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8 hours.


• Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.


• Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work.


• Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.


• Strong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed.


• Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned.


• Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately in noisy environments.


• Must also have close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus and judge depth. Color vision is required as well.


• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Compensation:

$26-30 per hour
