Jobot Consulting in Belle Chasse, LA is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and run CNC equipment producing precision parts for energy-sector customers. Openings exist for developing machinists and experienced setup machinists, with pay based on skill level.

Responsibilities include setting up CNC lathes/mills, reading blueprints, selecting tooling, and maintaining quality with precise measurement tools. On-site role with opportunities to grow skills across different parts and machines.

Formación

• 1+ years CNC machining experience on lathes and/or mills.
• Ability to read blueprints and tol to tight tolerances.
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak controls is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills to print tolerance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Select tooling, set offsets, and adjust to maintain quality.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges.
• Edit basic G-code programs and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow shop safety procedures.
