Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring a CNC Machinist in Houston, TX to set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills, producing parts for inflatable packers. The candidate needs to bring a toolbox, work with straight and taper threads, and operate under minimal supervision while following blueprints and tolerances.

The role offers a 1st shift (6 am–2:30 pm) with weekly pay and a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications

• Own toolbox and tools required.
• Experience with straight/taper threads required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (lathe and/or mill) to produce first article parts and verify programs.
• Review blueprints and specs to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Identify, gauge, and measure straight and taper threads.
• Measure, mark, and indicate dimensions on parts.
• Prepare fixtures, tools, and attachments for machine operations.
• Set controls for speed, feed, coolant, and depth; monitor for malfunctions.
• Verify finished part conformance to specifications and resolve issues with team.
