Job summary

MC Molds Inc. in Michigan is seeking a motivated CNC Machining Team member. Training is provided for candidates with little or no CNC experience who show mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC milling machines, loading programs, editing as needed, and inspecting parts. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential, with overtime possible.

• Develop skills to operate multiple CNC machines efficiently.

MC Molds Inc is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our CNC Machining Team.

While previous CNC machining experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate, including individuals with little or no CNC experience who demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn and a commitment to producing quality work.

We recognize that not every qualified candidate will have experience with the machines, controls and processes used in our facility. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, work well with others and are interested in developing their skills and growing with our company.

Qualifications:

Preferred Experience and Skills (Not Required)

• Experience setting up and operating 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machining centers.
• Two or more years of CNC machining experience.
• Familiarity with Heidenhain, Fanuc and/or Hurco CNC controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
• Understanding of GD&T fundamentals.
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of proper speeds and feeds for machining various materials.
• Experience with machining fixtures and workholding practices.
• Ability to operate multiple CNC machines efficiently.
• Experience operating horizontal CNC milling machines is a plus.

• Develop the skills necessary to operate multiple CNC machines efficiently.
