CNC Machinist (SDKY) - 1st Shift (M – Th, 7 am – 5 pm)

Responsibilities
  • Perform work order activities according to production procedures.
  • Conduct daily equipment maintenance, including lubrication, fluid checks, chip handling, and scrap removal.
  • Load programs and verify procedures via DNC, USB, interfaces, etc.
  • Set up, operate, and teardown CNC and ancillary equipment, including tool changes and adjustments.
  • Start and stop CNC cycles accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform tool insert changes and material loading.
  • Conduct teardown of setups and perform edge-breaking and deburring as needed.
  • Locate and verify tools and inserts; interpret production prints; perform quality checks and measurements.
  • Report malfunctions and other operational issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical/Mechanical coursework in CNC machining, including setup.
  • 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
  • Skill in CNC machinery operation.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measurement devices like calipers and micrometers.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow production and quality procedures.
