Job summary

Fuse is seeking a skilled Machinist/Programmer in San Leandro, CA to set up and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes, program parts, and verify precision to tight tolerances for TITAN components.

You will work with design engineering on manufacturability, maintain documentation, and mentor coworkers while handling production and prototype parts. A strong background in G-code, GD&T, and CAM software is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years CNC machining experience.
• 1+ years setup and operation of CNC mills and/or lathes; read and program G-code.
• Skilled with CMM, calipers, micrometers and GD&T applications.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Fusion CAD/CAM, Mastercam or similar CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes with 4-axis control.
• Write and edit CNC programs to fabricate components; optimize cycles.
• Verify part accuracy using calipers, micrometers and CMM reports.
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability.
• Maintain documentation and address non-conformances.
