Job summary

Dubose National Energy in Middleburg Heights, OH is seeking a CNC Machinist with strong experience in programming and operating CNC mills and lathes. This role requires precision and the ability to read complex prints.

You will select tooling, measure finished parts with calipers and micrometers, and maintain tolerances to ±0.002. Overtime may be required. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Ability to program at the machine with G-code.
• Experience using calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read and understand machining prints.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• GD&T knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program, setup and operate CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers using G-Code.
• Program, setup and operate CNC turning centers using G-Code.
• Select proper tooling to machine components as needed.
• Read and understand machining prints.
• Identify worn tooling in order to replace or adjust offsets.
• Machine components to customer supplied prints and tolerances.
• Utilize measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers to check machined components.
• Machine components to better than +/- .002 tolerances.

Job Function

• Proven ability to measure parts with common metrology equipment.
• Ability to follow direction to achieve shop goals.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take ownership.
• Available to work overtime if needed.

Considered a Plus:

• Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Tolerancing).
