This is a full-time, on-site CNC Machinist/Programmer role based in Livermore, CA. The CNC Machinist/Programmer will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines, including multi-axis equipment, to produce precision components to specification. Daily responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings and CAD/CAM models, creating and optimizing CNC programs, selecting tooling and work-holding, and performing set-ups and in-process inspections. The role involves troubleshooting machining issues, adjusting feeds and speeds, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to improve processes and ensure consistent part quality. The individual will also follow safety procedures, maintain clean and organized work areas, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
