Job summary

Orizon Aerostructures - Olathe is seeking a CNC Machinist to own the full scope of machining operations in Olathe, KS. You will load parts, operate controls, machine and inspect components, and ensure deburring is completed to spec.

You will interpret machine manuals to write custom macros, collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations, and help launch new parts with updated procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining and inspection required.
• Ability to interpret machine manuals and write macros.
• Hands-on operator with part loading and deburring.
• Ability to communicate feedback to Engineering and Quality.
• Support onboarding of new parts into production.

Responsibilities

• Own the full scope of CNC machining and related operations.
• Decode manuals to write custom macros and support advanced techniques.
• Load parts, operate controls, machine and inspect components.
• Deburr parts and ensure adherence to process standards.
• Provide clear feedback to Engineering, Quality, and Operations for improvements.
• Collaborate with Programming to optimize cutting parameters.
• Lead launches of new parts by implementing procedures and best practices.
• Stay updated with latest machining technologies and innovations.
• Diagnose machine issues, adjust settings, and verify OEM standards.
• Uphold and exceed Orizon's quality benchmarks.
