Ottenweller Company, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist in Fort Wayne, IN to set up and operate Hurco machines and related equipment. The role requires reading blueprints, selecting tooling, and performing precision measurements to ensure parts meet specifications.

The position involves running milling and turning centers, verifying dimensions with calipers and micrometers, and performing routine maintenance. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of GD&T are preferred.

Competenze

• Requires reading blueprints and tolerances
• Familiar with GD&T and measurement tools
• Experience with Hurco CNC machines preferred

Mansioni

• Study blueprints and specs to determine tolerances and setup requirements
• Program or select CNC functions to create parts per blueprint
• Set up and operate machines, load parts, monitor operation and adjust as needed
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspection with calipers and micrometers
• Conduct routine maintenance and keep logs of machine condition
• Perform additional manual machining as assigned
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met
