Job summary
Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a focused CNC Operator to operate machines that mill, punch, drill, and machine parts to tight tolerances. Under supervision, you will set up and monitor operations, perform basic math, read drawings, and use precision measuring tools to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
The role emphasizes adherence to ISO/AS9100 standards, lean manufacturing practices, and effective communication with team members in a fast-paced production
Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma and some vocational or technical training.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of directly related CNC machining experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to use shop mathematics, drawings and measuring tools.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery for routine and repetitive production runs with basic setup and adjustments.
- Make minor setup changes and ensure close tolerances and quality.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations and use precision measuring instruments.
- Monitor machine operation to prevent malfunctions and ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Follow ISO/AS9100 and lean manufacturing standards in daily work.
