Job summary

Husky Technologies in Milton, Vermont, seeks a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts within tight tolerances. You will work from blueprints, instructions and established processes to machine, inspect and verify precision components in a clean, safety-conscious environment.

You will read and interpret drawings, load materials, monitor performance and document production data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
• Experience setting up or operating CNC machines.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers and pin gauges.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, drills, grinders and other equipment.
• Read blueprints and work instructions.
• Load materials and ensure proper setup prior to operation.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed.
• Maintain tooling and select correct tools for each operation.
• Inspect parts using measuring instruments to spec.
• Perform cleaning and finishing operations as required.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and safe.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Communicate concerns to supervisors and team members.
• Collaborate with team to meet production, quality and delivery goals.
