Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Knowledge of X, Y, Z, 4th and 5th axis machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and tolerances.
• Working knowledge of G & M codes, tooling, speeds and feeds.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers and other precision tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production documentation.
• Work with X, Y, and Z axes, including 4th and 5th axis machining.
• Change fixtures, tooling, inserts, and tooling offsets to ensure accurate setups.
• Understand and edit G & M Codes, speeds, and feeds.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues.
• Maintain part tolerances and ensure finished components meet quality specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
