Job summary

Qualifications

• Verify quality documents and paperwork before start.
• Complete dimensional reports and machine logs for items machined.
• Operate forklift and lifting devices for movement of parts.
• Communicate with supervisor, planners, engineers, and shop personnel.
• Wear PPE per JHA and task requirements.
• Keep equipment and work area clean; perform basic maintenance.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pass a physical, drug test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, produce quality parts on CNC machines in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.
• Operate, set up, and perform first article inspections on production runs.
• Load parts using overhead lifting equipment; set offsets; deburr; inspect.
• Identify problems before production and adjust machine controls as needed.
• Read blueprints and use measuring tools to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Keep work area clean and perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Comply with NOV policies and procedures.
