Job summary

Buffalo Well Products is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision-focused manufacturing team in Akron, NY. You will set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC equipment (Mills and Lathes) while upholding tight quality standards and safety practices.

The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years of CNC experience, familiarity with G-Code and Fanuc controls, and strong measuring-tool proficiency. A HS diploma or GED is required; technical training or Journeyman experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (Lathes and Mills).
  • Proficiency with G-Code programming; experience with Fanuc controls is a major plus.
  • Mastery of standard measuring tools and attachments.
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Technical Trade School diploma or Journeyman experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Setup & operate at least two CNC machines (Mills/Lathes) with safety and accuracy.
  • Use CAM software to program basic features.
  • Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, indicators, bore gauges, pins to match specs.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and minor repairs to keep production running.
  • Collaborate with team; log activity and support cross-training.
