Overview

A precision manufacturer serving the medical and aerospace industries is seeking a CNC Machinist/Operator to join their team in Woburn. This role is ideal for a hands-on machinist who thrives in a collaborative, high-precision environment. You’ll be part of a 40-person site with the feel of a small shop, backed by the resources of a larger group.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor Swiss CNC machines (Tsugami, Citizen) and other CNC equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements
  • Work to close tolerances on aerospace and medical components
  • Inspect finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  • Assist with troubleshooting setups and optimizing production runs
  • Maintain equipment, tooling, and a safe, clean work environment
  • Partner with engineers/programmers on process improvements
  • Support quality, delivery, and continuous improvement goals
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of CNC machining; Swiss experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Tsugami or Citizen machines a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
  • Skilled in precision measurement and inspection practices
  • Basic CNC programming knowledge a plus (growth opportunity)
  • Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality work
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship
