Job Overview

This role involves interpreting blueprints, setting up machines, operating CNC and manual equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, routing, inspection, and setup requirements.
  • Select, align, and secure holding fixtures and accessories on machines.
  • Select, align, and secure cutting tools and install tool assemblies on machines.
  • Load and secure raw materials on machines.
  • Set controls for manual operations or retrieve and download machine control programs for CNC operations.
  • Monitor machine operation, detect malfunctions, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Unload finished parts, perform deburring, and conduct quality checks using manual methods or CMM/DCC-CMM.
  • Perform daily maintenance and housekeeping on machines and work area.
  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, inspectors, and maintenance personnel to resolve issues.
