Job description

CNC Machinist/Mold Builder
Company: Quintex Molding

Quintex Molding is looking for a CNC Machinist with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Qualified candidates would have proficient CAD/CAM experience, a broad understanding of machining fundamentals, diagnostic and mechanical skills, and an understanding of complex mechanical assemblies. This position requires proactive thinking, problem-solving skills, mechanical inclination, self-motivation, organization, and collaborative input. CAD and general design proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Building custom injection molds using Fusion 360 CAD/CAM, Haas CNC mills, lathes, surface grinders, radial arm drills, and other machinery.
  2. Maintaining, repairing, changing over, cleaning, and rebuilding injection molds and their internal components.
  3. Troubleshooting mold issues based off part defects, and executing effective repairs.
  4. Collaborating with and assisting other employees in various tasks to help support and maintain a cooperative workplace.
