As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by operating and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You will work with a team of skilled machinists and engineers to ensure the efficient and accurate production of parts. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will be essential in meeting our production goals.
In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by:
- Setting up and operating machines such as EDM's and grinders to produce parts according to specifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations.
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and making adjustments as necessary using measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, and Indicators. Both analog and digital.
- Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up and operate machines to produce parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met utilizing inspection methods and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot equipment or processes using RPS and/or RCCA
