Dover Corporation in Rock Island, IL is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC machinery for various machining operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial manufacturing and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts.
This role entails ensuring safe operations, completing ERP transactions, and maintaining equipment as part of a dedicated team. The position offers a competitive pay range of $23.40 to $29.65 per hour along with various benefits.

Pay Range: $23.40 - $29.65 per hour
Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
Second Shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Sets up and operate CNC to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, and threading parts such as castings, forgings, and bar stock by performing the following duties.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with experience in industrial manufacturing.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
