Job summary

Danfoss in Jackson, MI is seeking a CNC Machinist Lathe/Mill for a 1st shift role, Monday–Friday, 6:45 am–3:15 pm. You will set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, read blueprints, and inspect parts to tight tolerances using precision instruments.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret complex blueprints with precision.
• Experience set up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to machine various materials.
• Read blueprints and work orders to meet tolerances and specs.
• Position tooling and secure workpieces for accurate machining.
• Adjust speeds and feed rates and inspect first-piece to spec.
