• Perform inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Operate overhead cranes for large-part manufacturing.
• Maintain a clean shop floor and reorder tools as needed.

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This a contract to permanent / direct placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalentas well as 2-3 years of experience with CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss.

Principle Duties

• Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers.
• Performs Machine Adjustments and Troubleshoots Controllers / Machines / Processes.
• Works from Blueprint Requirements.
• Selects Tools, Sets Feeds and Speeds.
• Perform Inspection of Machined Parts using Precision Hand Tools.
• Able to work Independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Operates Overhead Cranes for Large-Part Manufacturing.
• Maintains a clean work environment and Shop Floor (Tools, Equipment, Machines, etc.) Re-orders Tools as needed.
