Work consists of CNC Machine Setup and Changeovers with minimal supervision and good problem solving skills. Work is performed on Horizontal CNC Machines and requires excellent knowledge of G and M code, Setting Work Offsets and use of Probes and various measurement gages to verify conformance to quality standards.

Location: This position is currently located in Hampton, NH, but the facility will be relocating to Durham, NH in the summer.

Compensation:

  • $1,500 Sign on Bonus*
  • Eligible for Annual Increases

1st Shift Schedule:

  • This position is for 1st shift
  • Monday – Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Overtime available on a business need basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, reference planes, designs sketches and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) for operation, material, and dimensional requirements.
  • Apply advanced skills to the development of concepts and techniques. Complete highly complex tasks in creative and effective ways.
  • Consistently work on a variety of highly complex tasks requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve highly complex problems.
  • Make recommendations for new procedures.
  • Take measurements of material and select appropriate machines for the process.
  • Perform machining setups and make adjustments as required.
  • Conduct inspections of work produced.
  • Check SPC charts for frequency of checks, gauging and measurements.
  • Keep records and maintain quality/safety standards.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
