Job summary

FK Instrument Co., LLC is seeking a CNC Machinist III/Programmer to turn complex prints into flawless parts and to program as much as being on the shop floor. You will create Mastercam programs, set up machines, and perform first-piece inspections while mentoring teammates.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, optimize toolpaths, and log times in the ERP system. We offer competitive pay, an annual bonus, and 100% employer-paid medical insurance for the employee.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on CNC programming experience with CAD/CAM systems (Mastercam preferred).
• Fanuc control experience and high-precision machining background.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Deep knowledge of tooling, speeds/feeds, and process optimization.
• Ability to mentor machinists and collaborate with engineering.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs using Mastercam for tight-tolerance, high-precision parts.
• Set up and operate CNC machinery, ensuring blueprint and GD&T conformance.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Mentor machinists and operators, sharing expertise to strengthen the team.
• Log setup, programming, and run times in the ERP system.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
