Job summary

American Rheinmetall is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to operate and maintain machining centers for boring, facing, threading and other operations on metallic parts, including castings and forgings. Levels 1–3 progressively build technical ability, programming, and leadership.

Responsibilities include set-up, measurement, calibration, and documentation of production logs. The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ years of CNC experience, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year CNC machining experience.
• Ability to perform basic math and read simple drawings.
• Ability to obtain an overhead crane permit as part of job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines by setting tool registers, offsets and compensation.
• Measure positions and verify machine settings to ensure quality.
• Perform drilling, turning, facing and other operations per job standards.
• Document production and quality logs and communicate shift activity.
• Support process improvements and mentor Level 1 machinists as needed.
