Job summary

Bettcher Industries in Birmingham, OH is seeking a Machinist II to run CNC machines with minimal supervision. You will make minor offsets, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tolerances.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; preferred 3 years of manufacturing machining experience or vocational schooling.
• Able to troubleshoot equipment and identify tooling issues such as worn tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines with minimal supervision.
• Make minor offsets & tool adjustments; document results.
• Read work instructions and verify part dimensions and tolerances.
• Interpret measuring devices and report non-conformances or process issues.
• Maintain multiple machines and report production results.
• Adhere to safety policies and perform daily housekeeping.
