Job summary

Ellwood Crankshaft Group (ECG) in Sharon, PA seeks a Machinist II to operate large CNC machines, loading, setting offsets, and monitoring processes. The role includes basic maintenance, in-process inspection, and documentation to ensure quality.

You will work a 4-on 4-off schedule with day, night, or rotating shifts, and operate band saws, lathes, and cranes while meeting safety and production targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years machining experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiar with general computer applications.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeed.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate large CNC machines: load workpiece, set program offsets, monitor machining.
• Perform basic maintenance and clean equipment and work area.
• Conduct in-process inspection of parts and maintain records.
• Move and position parts using overhead cranes and forklifts as needed.
• Machine drive flats using CNC mill and perform tooling repairs and adjustments.
• Follow all plant safety rules and maintain high quality standards.
• Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs and frequent lifting up to 30 lbs; varied physical duties.
