Job summary

ELLWOOD Crankshaft Group seeks a Machinist II for our Sharon, PA facility. You will operate large CNC milling and turning machines, load workpieces, and set offsets as part of a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing team.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts in a 4-on 4-off schedule. Previous machining experience and safe operation of heavy equipment are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years machining experience preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a large CNC machine: load the workpiece, layout and set program offsets.
• Monitor the machining process and correct issues.
• Unload and deburr semi-finished parts; inspect as needed.
• Maintain tooling; perform basic repairs and upkeep.
• Operate a metal cutting band saw, lathe and related equipment.
• Follow plant safety rules and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Move materials using cranes, forklifts and other motorized equipment.
