Job summary

Seiler Instrument & Mfg. Co. Inc. seeks a Machinist Level II to operate CNC mills and lathes, producing tight-tolerance parts per blueprints. Candidates should have CNC experience, read prints, and perform in-process inspection, maintaining quality and safety on the shop floor.

This on-site role in St. Louis offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive health plans, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, holidays, PTO, and flexible start times for many positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and use common inspection tools.
• Strong track record of safe machine operation and quality performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce parts to documented requirements.
• Read blueprints and job documentation to confirm features, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Perform in-process inspection and document results with standard measuring instruments.
• Monitor part quality during runs and elevate out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with safety and quality requirements.
