2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday 4:30 pm - 3:15 am / $2.00/hour Shift Differential

Benefits include a 4.5% 401(k) match, starting the first day of the month following hire.

Performs intermediate-level specialized computer numerical control (CNC) machinist work for Structure Medical, LLC. Operates CNC machines to produce parts according to approved schedules. Work is performed under general supervision with limited latitude, exercising some judgment within well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following list is representative of tasks performed within this role. It is not exhaustive, and management may assign duties not listed if they are a logical part of the position.

1. Set up and operate CNC machines, performing preventative maintenance.
2. Verify setups against travelers, tooling, programs, gages, etc.
3. Recommend process improvements to resolve issues.
4. Complete necessary paperwork per job requirements.
5. Verify components against process travelers and close out.
6. Problem solve to address production issues and suggest improvements.
7. Perform first-piece inspection after setup.
8. Inspect parts according to inspection plans.
9. Verify tools against tool sheets and programs, adjusting as needed to meet specifications.
10. Adjust machine controls or control media, ensuring correct programs are running.
11. Replace tooling and set up machines for trial runs to verify accuracy.
12. Correct units out of specification, tagging and reporting issues to Quality.
13. Coordinate with Quality to ensure units meet specifications.
14. Maintain inspection procedures during production.
15. Keep work area, machines, tooling, and parts clean and organized.
16. Maintain high quality and productivity standards.
17. Label parts and send to the next process step.
18. Streamline processes to enhance productivity and quality, ensuring consistent setup of jobs.
19. Clean and assemble collet assemblies, inspect and replace fixtures, collets, and tools.
20. Assist fellow machinists as needed.
