Job Description

** Position Summary**

Machine parts to conform to blueprints/drawings

** Duties and responsibilities**

The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons

  • Independently setup at least one type of CNC machine
  • Operate machine/s while maintaining blueprint specifications
  • Perform stability study of gauges used
  • Load and edit programs as needed
  • Perform initial inspection when needed
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager

** Supervisory Responsibilities**

  • None

** Physical Requirements**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to load/unload machines (requires repetitive lifting and bending)

** Work Environment**

  • Majority of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high
  • PPE required as determined by company safety standards: safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety shoes

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience setting up and operating CNC equipment

  • Demonstrated ability to setup some of the CNC machines

  • Ability to use all relevant measurement equipment

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English

  • Ability to meet quality and productivity standards

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Computer skills, intermediate knowledge Microsoft Office

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work apart of a team

  • Ability to be at workstation on time, every day unless authorized

Additional Information

The US base hourly range for this full-time position is $18.50 to $21.00 plus $2 shift differential. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
